Woolcot is a soffilo which means the fibres are not twisted but “blown” into the reticular structure that holds them in this case, organic cotton! For this reason the yarn is swollen, soft and lightweight which results in you getting a very high meterage for the weight, 150m metres per 50g for this DK yarn, so you need fewer balls for your project. (I've also discovered it knits beautifully on 5mm!)
(This sweater took 8 balls for a medium size, we based it on a Kim Hargreaves pattern)
